Biofilm Flush and Deep Clean
This is a regular service that will help to keep your hot tub clean and free from harmful bacteria. We recommend that you have your hot tub flushed and refilled three to four times a year. Biofilm is a bacteria. Biofilm, sometimes referred to as spa bacteria, is the slime that forms in your hot tub pipe work and will not be killed by normal sanitation like chlorine or bromine. Biofilm accumulation can cause the spa to use more chemicals, become cloudy, and unable to filter water properly. It can also lead to a hot tub itch, rash, and equipment damage.
- Adding a biofilm eliminator and thoroughly flushing out your hot tub
- Take out your filters and clean them with filter cleaner
- Cleaning the shell of the spa
- Refitting the filters
- Refilling and rebalancing the water with your hot tub chemicals
- Washing and cleaning the hot tub cover with Protectant
We use specialist equipment to drain your hot tub water quickly, but the time it takes to refill your spa is dependant on your water pressure.
Before we can carry out a Biofilm flush we recommend your hot tub to be on and up to temperature for best results.
Winterise Service
We always recommend keeping your hot tub running as it has mechanical parts like pumps, bearings etc. We also realise it is not always possible. If your hot tub is not being used and you need to shut it down we can do it professionally. By getting us to shut down your hot tub, you are ensuring that your spa is closed down safely and protected from the elements. A very high percentage of our callouts in spring are cracked pumps or pipework due to frost damage. Our Winterise Service will do our upmost to remove all water from your pipework, pumps and heater ect.
- Adding a biofilm eliminator to clean out the system
- Taking the side panels off the hot tub to check the condition of the equipment and to check for any leaks*
- Completely draining the hot tub of water and vet vac jets
- Loosening all pump and heater unions, vac, blow out water
- Removing any head rests and cleaning the hot tub shell
- Cleaning the filter with filter cleaner
- Sealing the top of the hot tub to prevent water getting inside the spa
- Washing and cleaning the hot tub with Protectant
Full access to the hot tub is needed to take the side panels off. Before we can carry out a shut down, your hot tub needs to be on and up to temperature.
Please note – we do our upmost to remove any water from system but recommend that hot tubs are kept running during the winter for best protection and will not be held responsible for any problems ate start up.

Full Annual Service
Just like a car, it’s important to give your hot tub a full service once a year! Getting your hot tub regularly serviced can flag up any small problems and save you money in the long run. We give your hot tub a complete mot, checking all of the equipment and systems are working properly. We also do a bioflush and refill. If we need to carry out any additional repairs we will discuss it with you first. We can also advise on making your hot tub more energy efficient by adjusting filter cycles, adding insulation ect.

Our maintenance plans are perfect for those with a busy lifestyles. Our maintenance plans offer fantastic savings and can include callout charges ect to give you peace of mind if a problem does arise. We can Taylor a package to fit your needs weather you use your hot tub all year round or only a seasonal user.

Breakdowns
We want you get maximum usage out of your hot tub year in year out and the best way to do that is by keeping your tub well maintained. Keeping on top of the smaller problems can help stop the larger ones arising. Sometimes with anything with mechanical or electrical breakdowns will happen. If your hot tub has stopped working, give us a message or a call and we will talk you through anything you can try and do yourself. In the event you need to a service call from a technician will get you booked in for a convenient time. Our callouts charge and hourly rate are very competitive.

Hot tub hire is where our business started back in 2017 and is still a huge of our business today. We have been working with Lothian Glamping for a while now offering guests the luxury of hot tub with their stay. We decided to take our partnership a little further by installing our own luxury solid hot tubs into the site.
